The Chicago Blackhawks and Dave Vennetti

Despite being a member of the hockey family, the Chicago Blackhawks haven’t won a championship since the ill-fated Chicago Wolves in 1999. The team was renamed the Cincinnati RailRaiders, but that’s another story. In the hockey world, the team isn’t even close to being in the top five. Nonetheless, the team is home to some very notable players. Most notably, the Blackhawks have one of the best powerplays in the league. As such, the organization boasts an impressive roster of players, coaches and trainers. One of the more notable additions is general manager Stan Bowman, who has been with the organization since the early ’90s. Other execs with a long tenure include GM Doug Baker and president and general manager Mark Wilson. Meanwhile, the franchise’s minor league affiliates are well-stocked with young talent.
